Every business wants AI. Most don't know what to do with it.

By 2025, every mid-market business in Ireland and the UK had been pitched by an AI consultancy promising transformation. Most pitches went nowhere — not because the technology was wrong, but because the gap between executive AI ambition and operational reality was too wide for the average consultancy to bridge.

Nomad AI was founded to live in that gap. Less keynote, more deployment. We train teams to use AI properly, and we build the private LLM solutions that let them apply it to their actual workflows — not the polished demo workflows that win conference applause.

Two offerings. Both pragmatic.

We deliberately kept the offer narrow. Two services, both grounded in things businesses genuinely need, both billable on outcomes rather than hours.

Co-founder, builder, director.

I joined as co-founder and have since taken a directorship in the company. My remit spans the product and technical side — designing the LLM solutions we ship, building the internal tooling that lets a small team deliver enterprise-grade work, and developing the training methodology.

Alongside my co-founder, I'm responsible for the operating model, the GTM approach, and the through-line that keeps Nomad AI a pragmatic consultancy rather than another AI hype shop. It's the project I'm most invested in long-term.

Sell the outcome, ship the deployment.

The single most useful insight from running Nomad AI: businesses don't buy AI — they buy outcomes. A 40% reduction in admin time. A document classification pipeline that doesn't need a human triager. A trained team that uses Claude or GPT without leaking data. Frame the offer in the customer's language, then build the technical solution behind it.
